Our Facility
Catalyst Foods operates a USDA inspected food manufacturing facility at 15509 Main Street E, Sumner, Washington, built for co-packing, ready to eat meal production, and fresh meat processing at scale.
What Food Safety Standards Does the Catalyst Foods Facility Follow?
Catalyst Foods operates under continuous USDA inspection and a documented HACCP food safety program. Every stage of production, from ingredient handling through final packaging, follows the same regulatory standard required of national retailers and foodservice distributors, so food safety is built into the process rather than checked at the end of it.
We recently completed an independent third party GMP audit and scored 900 out of 1000, a strong result reflecting well maintained facilities and disciplined food safety practices. We are also actively pursuing SQF certification, with certification expected within the next 9 to 12 months. *(Note: USDA establishment number still to be added once confirmed.)*
As we navigate the complexity of custom co-packing and food manufacturing, food safety stays the constant. We invest in ongoing training and updated protocols as standards evolve, and we maintain transparency with customers about our certifications and inspection status.

What Equipment and Capacity Does Catalyst Foods Have?

Catalyst Foods operates from over 20,000 square feet of production and cold storage space in Sumner, Washington. The facility is equipped with commercial convection ovens, large capacity kettles, a tilt skillet, and blast freezing, along with packaging capability that includes modified atmosphere packaging, vacuum packaging, retail tray sealing, and bulk foodservice packaging.
On a single shift, the facility produces approximately 10,000 to 15,000 pounds of cooked protein per week, and roughly 8,000 to 12,000 ready to eat meals per shift, with actual output depending on recipe complexity, package format, and product mix.
Does Catalyst Foods Have Room to Grow With My Business?
Yes. While the facility has substantial production capacity today, it is intentionally not operating at maximum output. That headroom exists so Catalyst Foods can scale alongside customers as their volume grows, rather than hitting a ceiling the moment a program expands.
We work closely with each customer to build production forecasts and schedules that reserve capacity in advance, while staying flexible enough to respond when demand shifts. That combination, real reserved capacity plus the flexibility to adjust, is what allows Catalyst Foods to be a long term manufacturing partner rather than a one time production run.
